Contently
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Contently — what the service does, what you own, and what we don’t promise.

Who we are
Contently (“Contently”, “we”, “us”) is a content-planning and script-generation service operated by LFJ Marketing, registered at Verspronckweg 299, 2023BK Haarlem, Netherlands, KVK 42043034. You can reach us at johnwford2@gmail.com.
What Contently does
Contently helps brands plan and write short-form video content. It finds publicly available reference videos relevant to what you want to make, analyses them, and generates scripts grounded in what it has learned about your brand. You film and post the content yourself; Contently does not post on your behalf unless you explicitly connect an account and authorise it.
Your account
You need an account to use Contently, and during closed beta you also need an invite code. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts belong to workspaces; anyone who joins your workspace with your invite code can see that workspace’s content, brand memory, and usage.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Contently.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into Contently — your brand information, notes, uploads, and the scripts generated for you. You grant us permission to process that content solely to provide the service (including sending it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy).
We do not claim ownership of scripts Contently generates for you. You are responsible for what you publish.
Reference videos
Contently surfaces publicly available videos from platforms like TikTok and Instagram as creative references. These belong to their creators, not to you or to us.
Reference videos are for inspiration, not duplication. Contently shows you what is working and why so that you can make your own version. Copying someone else’s video, script, or likeness may infringe their rights and may breach the terms of the platform you post to. That is your responsibility, not ours.
AI-generated output
Scripts, plans, and analysis are produced by AI systems. They can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable. We do not guarantee that content generated by Contently will perform well, be original, be factually accurate, or comply with any platform’s rules. Review everything before you publish it.
Plans, usage, and payment
Contently is usage-metered. Each workspace has a usage allowance; when it is reached, content generation and video discovery pause until the allowance resets or is increased. Trial workspaces receive a limited number of free generations and do not renew.
Paid plans, when available, are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Prices are shown before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Contently to create content that is unlawful, that harasses or defames people, that infringes someone’s intellectual property, or that breaches the terms of the platforms you post to. Don’t attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Third-party services
Contently connects to third-party services (see the Privacy Policy for the full list). Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, behaviour, or changes to their APIs. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, parts of Contently may stop working.
Availability and changes
Contently is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. Where changes are material, we will give reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities arising from your use of Contently. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
